I never read the comic, so story and caracters were new for me. Even the cast was unknown for me.
The first half of the movie was boring, i was glad that i bought two Red Bulls too keep me awake. After the break was the second half the best part of the movie. Lots of hard action and blood, now i did understand why it was for 16 years and older

Would you recommend it?

To M21 Sniper:
Why go: If you liked the comic. If you like blood, if you like ladies in latex (or without it ), if you like to see a blue penis ( ). Good music.

Why not: If you think it is a Batman or Spiderman movie. If you don't want to see blood violence and sex. Or can't sit so long (almost 3 hours). Or under aged. If you look to much what was real in 1985.

When i think about it now, for me was it okay. Not special. Good for a nice evening at the movies with friends.

I saw Watchmen on Friday afternoon and would highly recommend it. It was a great movie, and there was a lot of concepts that made you think. I've never read the comics (or the book) and still was pretty enthralled.

It is definitely not the \"everyday superhero\" movie, lots sex and violence so do not bring your children. Great acting, lots of blood and gore and a ton a nudity.....what more could you ask for?
