Post subject:  Goose to the North Pond

I know I've been posting \"In waves\" thought things were going to smooth out after \"Mister Shitty \" stuck his head out, but I kicked his Ass back Down.
Started sorting those 3000 photo's, then the PC crashed, lucky I had put the pictures on a Portable HDD. But the PC I bought after the last one was \"Zapped\" was used and I founded out they had done some \"Short cuts\" the first owner so I ended up going from Total Bare Start with a set of Media Recovery CD's and it went back too 2005 as if it was Brand new. Only took 3 days to figure that out.
(Thank God for the Laptop) it helped me fix it. So now The PC is working pretty Damn Good in Fact after 21 hours of updating and installing all the programs.

Then I've been after my Dad to go see the Doc for a problem he has had for Oh lets see , 2 years (Stubborn) well the test came back not good so he has to go in Monday to see \"How bad it is\" The Dr's think it might be \"Early enough\".

Then CJ started showing signs of problem I find out 4 months ago that she didn't tell me about and after \"I Bitched at her about bitching at me not seeing the Dr ,Now she is seeing the Specialists next week to get some more testing\"

But this morning I take her to the Surgeon to get a Upper Tooth Cut out that's infected back where her wisdom teeth were,.

So After loosing my Aunt 3 months ago to cancer right before Christmas and 2 Friends within the last 3 weeks I need to

Decompress, Get my Head out of My ASS, go into the lockerroom and take off the \"Santa Goose Suit\" and put on
\"The SGT GOOSE\" Uniform and BUCK-UP

So I'll log out and Hit the Line,

Thanks for lets me get that off my Chest and I'll Report in when I get back from the Front.

Thanks Folks for the support,

The news isn't rosey and that's life. I rather have it be me ,but this time I got to be the support team.
Dad Prostrate cancer is \"Pretty Bad\" Dr has never seen a case like it before. Won't know the FULL extent until the bone scan but surgery is a must .

CJ is got more testing so we're still waiting for the next round of tests.

Then My Cousin that Jackass, his Daughter (16) gets Mono so far advanced that her throat almost closes on her so they rush her to the ER, with him Following with his 6 year old Middle of the Night. He's on sick leave because he just had a Quad Bypass 6 weeks ago that needed to be fixed.
Gets to the ER and goes into Cardiac Arrest, but they get his heart back on line but can;t get a steady rhythm so they put a thing in his heart today.
But the Mono infected Daughter Saved his life. He would of died they told evryone within 5 mins if not in the Hospital .

I'm finding out that MS isn't such a \"Pain in my Ass\" after all\"

So Will get these folks thru it, I got my \"SOB Tude\" from my Old Man\" so he's a Tough Old SOB he'll get thru it.

CJ we still don't know ,but she wants a Curise if it's Bad, and a Bottle of Scotch that doesn't end and all she can smoke.

So I'm really starting to support \"Medical Pot\"

Most of you been thru worse I guess it's just catching up with me.

I'll sign off thanks for the support

Goose I am sorry to hear so much is on your plate at one time. Tough or not it can wear a good man down.

Believe it or not I do advocate the medincial use of marijauna, with or without the goverments approval. I don't use the stuff myself and don't think well people should but when the outlook is grim and pain relief can be had, then go for it.

Thanks again Folks,

I got some \"Down time\" CJ is resting. We have to wait now until the 31st to get her next Major test done.

Dad did his Bone scan yesterday and He \"Panicked\" some after he was strapped down and they did his whole body after being told just the lower part and then the Tech left the Room for 20mins. as it was taking pictures.
Now he's never been thru this, let alone seen these things before, he's just sat outside with CJ when I did these \"Test\".

Dad Almost 70 and never being sick is a Bitch for him.
He's in doing the CT right now , I told him just tell them \"Drugs\" . They can give you a seditive. Besides the CT is easy the \"Passing of the Contrast Liquid\" later is worse.

\"Jackass\" Cousin is 43 and CICU again they put the Pacemaker in and the Chip in the Maker Failed an hour later..
He's had more \"PADDLE TIME\" then the Dr's on \"ER\" do in a weekly show I told his Wife, (She smiled on that one)

So thats all for now I better go see whats up

Hey Folks,

Just an a little up date.

Dad is getting scheduled for his surgery . He can't go the \"Silver Bullet\" route or Chemo for the Prostrate. They have to Completely remove it, the type is the \"Bad stuff\" Fast growing as far as Prostate cancer goes. He has to go in to see a GP and start the \"Clearance process\" (Heart work-up etc..) make sure he;s healthy enough for the surgery.
\"Hell I wish I was that healthy when I was 20. .

So their shooting for in the next 6 weeks due to \"The Surgery it's self\" setting things in place it'll take 4-6 hours. I think the Doc, is going to talk to one of his \"Older\" friends in the field and get him to do it, and let the surgeon that he has in his office assist.

The Lymph Nodes are the BIG UNKNOWN here. They won't know until inside. The tests all say \"Clear\" but their not as good as a Eyeball on them. Bones are clear.

So wait and see,

CJ's test is Tuesday and then on her Birthday (26th) Her sister tells her \"The Dr told us to get ready nothing else I can do for your Dad but keep him Comfortable.(If he wants Scotch give it to him and let him Smoke if he wants too if someone is with him). He can't remember much anymore so it's better plus living in a nursing home he never wanted that. Doc's on board though let him drink and smoke it aint going to make a difference.

My Dumb Ass Cousin is out of the Woods finally, but that heart monitor they put in him keeps \"Beeping\" which means it isn't working right ,he gets rushed to the ER and they keep him until they get the \"TEMS BOX\" I call it  download and its running fine they just reset it. I told him just get the kids to reboot it with their laptop from now on.

So that's it, Its this Sucky ASS weather and BS that drives you crazy doesn't it.?
Well I guess just wait and see now. I get CJ taken care of and the results back and she's Ok it'll be a \"Lift off\"
But Dad and her Dad are the 2 rough ones now.

But You get through it, Help from friends,

I'll check in later on.

Hey Folks

Well finally good news CJ is in the clear, nothing that a change in diet and some Rx's won't fix.
The test went really smooth the Dr said and I saw more people who I use to work with who lost their jobs back in 2003 ,now working for that group of Dr's. So it made her feel alot better , she knew them too.

So now its waiting for Dad's surgery and whatever or whenever with her Dad (The Father-in-law) time.

Everything body else has finally got thru their \"Rough spot\" and now its a chance to get some \"Rest\" .
Dr gave me some \"Pills\" for my Migraines , I got tried of \"Sucking it up\" , when a pill can take care of it. I went 3 years before I gave in to taking them, I figured I better go ahead and take them now before the \"Big Events\" .
I hate to be in the Hospital too at the same time.

So that's about it, nothing much else, I'm just getting to be a \"Fixture in Dr's Offices and Hospitals \" more than I was. Hell they even make me get my own \"Soda or Water\" now , when they use to get it for me.
That's a rip-off. Plus now they \"Charge you\" when you see the Dr a \"Hospital Fee too\" so you get a Dr's Office bill plus one for \"Walking into the Hospital\" called a Facility Charge. I guess that's to pay for the 4 times a year they remodel the Damn place, or mop the floor. $35 a visit on top of the Dr's visit. Non Profit My Ass when they charge you $2.00 for a can of Pop .

But the Offices do have 200 gallon salt water fish tanks in them , No TV but I like the fish better.

Well Dad goes on June 4th for surgery, thats the soonest they can do it.
They have to run 2 more test and then a MRI (Why we don't know) so he's pumping 4 pints of blood (0-) for the surgery just incase.

He's ready he just wants it over, but they gave him a \"Prostrate Cancer Stopper Shot\" Estergen
I told him he'll grow \"Boobs now\"

So thats it, everything else is quite. I'm half drugged out most of the time on this new stuff. I lost 25lbs so I guess it has benefits.

Thanks again Folks, It means alot.

My dad had prostate cancer a few years back. Luckily he didn't have to have surgery. He had the radioactive pellets instead. Anyway, when he had those shots my mom said they turned him into a pussy. LOL

Seriously, I am praying for you and your family. You got a lot on your plate and it appears you aren't even through the main course yet. Hang tough and keep us posted.

Fender,

He's Tough, he has know \"Unrealistic\" outlook that everything will be \"Fantastic\" he said \"Oh well I have to wait\" but he already told them if they see any signs of cancer in June anywhere, just sew him back up.

I have to agree with his choice on that one. It is such a aggressive type, they gave him the choice of doing it or not but since it wasn't in the bones they gave him a 75% chance of getting all. But if it gets to your bones it might take years but The Dr told me it is very painful and he would just give him pain meds.

But he's more worried now about getting into the fields than the cancer .

Thanks Bro CJ and I appericate it.

Todays the Day of the Surgery, I'll be leaving in a while to go up and wait with my Mom.

It'll take they figure 5 hours, but they'll biopsy the Lympiods firsts. If they find that it has started to spread, They will stop and sew him back up. The Cancer by then will have gone too agressive they figure to take the chance of spreading it.

Its not in his bones (GOOD NEWS) but his prostrate is already gone, they can't do anything for that but remove it.
But if the Lympoids have signs of cancer , he doesn't want to have them remove the prostrate and \"Piss in the bag\" and take the chance it wont heal. plus the cancer spreading farther.

They figure if its in his Lympoids he has up to 3 years or maybe more to live.

He's fine with it, He won't do any Radiation unless they can give him a better than 70% chance it will kill it.

He's in good sprits, I told him make sure to take a marker and mark where their suppose to cut, I told him he might need a
Fine piont

we get this done i go in for my galblander to be removed,
(Big deal give me a vaccuum and a hobby knife) and then off to the Skin Dr for the \"Skin Patches\" on my back and Stomach that have started growing fast.

CJ and I already talked and she knows if it isn't better than 70-30 I won't do Chemo, the MS can't handle it and it won't be worth it, besides I got to make sure Dad is alright first.

So 1 problem at a time and we have all corn planted year and if he can't get it out, I'll have to do it, so POP PILLS will travel.

Well this is going to be a long day,

Thanks for letting me unload that.

Goose out.

Well after 4 hours in surgery, and 20 hours in ICU, he is in a room.
The Dr's think it went pretty good, couldn't see anything Lympoids but sent off samples for more studys.

His type of Prostrate Cancer is the Worse you can have, but God must Love Fools we say. The shot they gave him to stop it in April Didn't stop it.
It spread more but along the bladder, they were going to strip the layers anyway already, but it was within they figure 2-3 weeks of spreading into his rectum area. So they had to strip layers from that area (Well that will teach him )

So 3 Surgeons 4 hours saved his life.

He had a rough time coming out from under, dizzy, very sick is why the ICU for so long.
He says he feels good not much pain, but watch his monitor spike he has pain so they knocked him out.

But he's alot better later today. Color back. In a Room But not really hungry .
I stayed for 10 mins because everyone and their brother was coming in.

I talked to Dr. B and told him \"Doc Dad wants to gets some rest and half those idoits don't need to be up here plus I know my Aunt and her Kids are sick.\"

He went right in and \"Everyone OUT\" HE needs to rest and anyone Sick OUT!.\"

My Cell rang going to the truck and it was Dad and he said \"Thanks Your Good for Something\" Good Nite.

So I'm beat, I'm going to Bed, I showed my PC Dr my Back was I was up there and he \"Paniced\" Thanks CJ.

I told him I'll see him in July.

Thanks Folks,

Now the Gallball Whoopiee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we'll get him home, He is doing Pretty Damn good for what he had done, I'll tell you that.

Fender, I'm fine, I think their going off the Deep end over nothing, but Hey what will be will be , I feel pretty good, Besides you know I'm too Damn Stubborn to let the \"Little things\" get to me.
If it is what they say it is , it will be there next month.

I just want the Galladder out, I can't eat fried Chicken or anything Good without \"A PAIN IN MY RIGHT SIDE\" That hurts like hell.

Dad got his results back today from the samples, Lympoids were clear, but the Dr removed parts of the nerves , on a hunch and they were loaded with cancer when tested.
So when they looked at the nerves removed they found out that he had taken out enough that they showed the ends were free of cancer.
So with him doing that , he got it all and now their sure its all gone !!!!

That cancer being such a High grade type he got Damn lucky.
Now its just 3month PSA's for the next year to watch to see if anyone is hiding in there.

He's doing great, just got to heal up for another 5-8 weeks so no picking up anything over a gallon of milk of driving for another month.

Thanks for hanging in there with me over this, I was worried about him, I'm use to being the one with the health issues I didn't like seeing him go thru this and he was getting scared.

Thanks Everybody
