It's a boring and rainy afternoon, the board has been quiet all weekend.
I suppose there are some who would have me post this on the politics board but this really is more along the lines of general knowledge.

Since I'm still trying to get my mind around the concept of a Trillion dollars and since somebody sent me this, thought I'd share with y'all.

We start with a simple $100 bill. We've all seen them, some of us even have a few squirreled away for those occasional casino trips.

This little pile is One Million dollars. I don't know anyone who has that much squirreled away and it's not even that impressive.

This is a 100 Million dollars. Now we're talking some serious money though you can't prove it by the way our politicians throw that figure around.

Now this is more like it. A Billion dollars.

The one you've been waiting for, or at least if you've read this far you have. The granddaddy of them all. THIS is One Trillion dollars. Notice the pallets are double stacked and our person looks a tad small..he's there in the lower left corner. Just think folks, we've spent four and a half of those in the last two months.

Sorry 30MM, WE spent it..Remember WE the people, in order to form a more perfect union...? WE delegated legislative authority to the executive branch and WE spent it. Bet you're going to ask exactly when WE delegated that authority..sucker slipped that one right by me too. Would seem a couple of hundred years ago our founders had this idea that government should be distinctly divided but sometime in the last 2 months WE decided otherwise. The big O also decided that WE weren't going to help GM unless the CEO was replaced. Shouldn't that have been a legislative decision?
