Guys I guess this is my fault but I am a little miffed at the regulars here. On the 16th of Oct I posted that Shaw had two aircraft involved in a mid-air over the Atlantic ocean near Charleston. One jet landed and one went missing. It has been viewed 96 times and not one person has replied. The pilot was killed but they haven't recovered his body as of yet.

I well understand your feelings here Fender. In retrospect, I remember opening that thread and looking, but I just didn't know how to respond at that time. We always hope for the best turnout in situations like these, but we don't always know the best ways to put our thoughts down in print. I offer my sinsear appologies for not responding, and my deep condolences for the loss of a brave pilot.

Sorry Fender, I did look as well but sometimes its hard to express words when something tragic like that happens....I guess i was kind of waiting for another post saying if they found him or not......

My apologies.

It is something that i hate to see or hear happen [salute]

Sorry to seem harsh, but it goes with the job...is there some required response now?

As long as we're respectful, that should be sufficient.

Kids are dying everyday in Afghanistan, what do we do about that? Did anyone post a note about the people killed in the helicopter mid-air collision this week?

If you feel the need to post it, let us read it and decide if we wish to reply or not.

While I understand your point, presedence has been set on this site for a LONG time concerning ANY military member losing his or her life in the line of duty. I would have posted the article about the helo mid-air if I hadn't been so busy with work and school.
