Up to 12 dead now, including the shooter. 31 wounded. This sucks...these kids should not be dying at home. Heroes deserve better. I try to be fair, objective and non-judgmental, but did you see the alleged shooter's name? Coach |

Name yes, but did you see his profession?!?!? A Shrink? Who's supposed to be HELPING returning soldiers deal with their PTSD. Typical of the Mental Health types if you as me. They're more F***ed up than their clients. I should know, I married one.

Also I just saw on Fox this morning than a high ranking army officer at the fort told a reporter that the shooter had jumped up on a table and was shooting down into cubicles where the soldiers were being processed. |

I second the previously stated posts.....I cant believe the son of a bitch is still alive after taking 4 shots....When they were interviewing the guys cousin on Fox he quickly hung up the phone when they asked about his family heritage......

Well I'll try to go along with Mark, not make any \"Judgements\" But the Army Really Screwed up not kicking this Guy out or sending him to Ft Hood then to send to Iraq. Who the Hell looks at this stuff???? How about the GI's that this Guy Talked too at Walter Reed and Ft Hood looking for Help? If he lives He better get a Military Trail because its the Death Penalty for him. Civilain Court he will get a Physic Hospital for Life and then Family visits. Goose |

Best wishes and deepest sympathies for the families. As for the shooter and the Army. It sounds like the same old political BS. If you have a guy you don't like and isn't shaping up, you transfer him instead of fixing the problem. I've seen the same stuff happen in the AF too so it's not like the Army has a corner on the market of ignorance. His last fitness report was bad, so instead of working with him, or separating him, they ship him off to Iraq. Yeah buddy, that's smart.
