It's been a few years since I've snooped around here. Thought I'd drop a line and see who still around.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I'm living in Northen Alabama now and we've had a very rough week. I went down to New Orleans after Katrina and I'd say this is close to or on par with that.

I came out ok though it was close.

As for me, I'm married now. After VMI I went to work as a civilian for the Army on their helicopters. So far I've worked on very platform except the little bird, and MI-17.

being dumb I joined the Army National Guard, I've got OCS in about 6 weeks, I have my flight physical tomorrow. Crap I forgot about that. well I know what I get to do this afternoon paperwork.

there done, panic attack over.

Yall saved my butt. I forgot to put my flight physical on my calander. and With all the excitement from the tornadoes I forgot about the physical. Hopefully if things go well and I'll be flying. Hopefully.

Great news! Did you say you went to VMI? Virginia Military Institute? My older brother graduated from there in '77.

yeah I graduated in '08. I didn't commision. I had a job offer to work as an engineer on Army helicopters thought it sounded more fun. But after a couple years of cube farms I enlisted in the national guard. Least I can get some hooah in on the weekends.

almost 2/3s of my career was with the Colorado Air National Guard. Great times and more of a family atmosphere than AD. Advancment is a little tougher.

Ice, that's been my experience. The NG is much more laid back, you can talk to senior NCO like their human beings!
