the postman was good to me today, he brought me my copy of GT4.
Just coming back from a virtual lap on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a brand new BMW M3. Awesome ride... I highly recommand this game to anyone who owns a PS2. So now I have to collect some virtual money to get to drive the real fast cars on that track... I gotta call the girlfriend and tell her I ain´t got time for her the next days... err I gotta work you know..

I'm thinkng about GT4 for myself but never liked the AI of the other cars in GT3.

The reviews I've read suggest not much has changed for GT4, can you comment.

My Broadband will be arriving in a few days so I'm considering looking for an online racing game so I can mix it with real folk.

I'm not into the comic strip racers like Need For Speed but prefer a little more realism.

I've heard TOCA2 is very good for on-line racing

Any other suggestions?

... I need a little more time to find out about the AI.
I think I can tell you more tomorrow... but as far as I know there´s no possibilty for online racing in GT4

Cheers,

I'm guessing if you don't post much in the next few days, we'll know what you are doing.

so after a few hours of playing, getting some of those driver licenses and winning the first races, i can say that the AI has defintitly improved. I haven´t reached the more challenging races yet, that will take some more time, collecting money, buying cars, finishing all the drivers licenses... but that´s the fun in the game.
There are many interesing tracks, 700 cars... it´s definitly worth its money!

Anyone like Burnout 3? It's an interesting mix of racing and demolition durby. And you'd think that games involving things you wouldn't do in real life out of respect for your ride would be popular...especially for Snipe and Heather.
