First of all, I'm not a pilot, I'm just an admirer like you . i'm a teenager from Israel.
Second of all, my best friend and some other very close friends are Canadian, and according to them I have earned the right to laugh at Canadians.
Third of all, no offense, but people will always be laughing at Canadians. It's one of those preordained things like women being mad at you or Monday Night Football. You can take some solace, however, in the fact that here, we don't mean it seriously. Take it the way it was meant, as a joke. Many a time has there been an Israeli/Jewish (which I'm both) joke or barb, and I doubt you'll see anything showing offense at them. If you want to respond, just post one of your own getting your point across. (If nothing else, it just ads to your number of posts, and with any luck it actually WILL be funny)
That's basically the trick to "surviving" on this board, take everything as a joke, and we'll all get along just fine.
If after all these explanations (I won't call them excuses) you still feel offended and are uncapable of taking it in good spirits, then I'm sorry.
