You and me both, TLR! In fact, I'm trying to swing another trip sometime this year.

I agree you really never had time for the tent, We normally stayed in our revetments all day. ICT's their area, Hot Pits their area, EOR & DE-ARM Swapped out, and I had Alpha 1 CAS & SAR Alert plus Broke Row.

We were so Damn spread out it took 30 mins to walk to the tool crib. But We had Radios and Gus was always on top of everything or Red6 the Specialists truck would come running.

But at KFIA we had on the South Ramp like the Beach on the North Ramp so much going on.
We had us (76th AMU/TFS) The 23rd TASS (Nail FAC), Pat's ABDR Folks and The Cajuns. Then you had all the Back shops too from the 23rd 1/3 of the way up.

Now come \"SCUD HOUR\" usually 0000 to 0200 we were done for the night hot pitting Lawndarts, everything ready to go and we would huddle in the Command Trailer and watch CNN and see the Scuds launch from Iraq which gave us usually 3 min warning before the Horn blew.
Time for a smoke, piss and a comfy spot on sand bag Hill to watch the show as they came in .

So I can see where your expediter keeps you in the truck if you would even go in.

You guys do Great Job over There.

Goose
