I'm slated to start FTU in April and I think I'm going to the Lobos (not 100% sure). If I am, that means it'll be an \"A\" model squadron. What happens when it comes to choosing a preference for my ops tour? Do I have to go to an A model sq or would they upgrade me at the end of training to go to Moody or what.

Oh, and which squadrons will be converted or in the process around Nov of this year?

I'm just along for the ride, but the CINC House is sqauwking a bit...any help.

It probably means you will be going to either Korea or Spangdahlem. I'll try and check on the schedule and put it here.

Hart11b, if you come to Spangdahlem (Germany), that base is for me 4,5 hours to drive from where i live in the Netherlands.

For i forget: Welcome on this forum.

If you're starting in April, it will be at the Lobos. Although nothing requires you go to an A-Model squadron when you're done (you can simply be sent through the conversion course), you will most likely go to one since none of the C-Model FTU grads can't go to A-Model squadrons out of FTU. Hence little room left for A-Model FTU grads in converted squadrons. We have yet to see an immediate conversion course for an A-Model FTU grad, and don't think it'll happen in the near future with all the conversions we're bogged down with.

Expect Korea or Spang, as Coach said.

Passport isn't required (because of SOFA's), but is always a good thing to have. Good Luck.
