We will be interviewing for multiple A-10 UFT positions. We'll try to sponsor about four candidates a year for the foreseeable future. I'm going to get this out to the accessions recruiters in the next couple days.
Good luck.

With this transition to an operational role, the 47th will begin sponsoring candidates for selection by the Air Force Reserve Command to attend UFT.
Competitive applicants will demonstrate a desire to serve their country as an officer in the Air Force Reserve. Sponsored candidates will be selected based on Education, Character, Aviation Aptitude, and Demonstrated Leadership and Officer Potential.

--Resume
--Summary of Flying Ratings and Experience (if applicable)

Sponsored candidates will need to meet selection criteria outlined in AFRCI 36-3602.
The 47th will be conducting interviews in the April ’08 time frame with a goal of submitting sponsored applicants for formal selection by AFRC in September ’08. If selected by HQ AFRC, candidates will attend Officer Training School (unless already a commissioned officer), Initial Flight Screening (IFS), Survival Training, Undergraduate Flight Training (UFT), Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF), and the A-10 Formal Training Unit (FTU). Once commissioned, candidates can expect to spend approximately two years in continuous training to become a qualified AF Reserve pilot.
