Walking up to an aircraft today to check for door art and looked-up and saw a MI on the tail. Was taken back a bit because I didn't know who it was at first then I realized...Selfridge. A new A-10 unit has joined the family, wonder if they will embrace the Hawg a bit better than Fort Smith has? ![]() Hawgwild, if I'm wrong about your unit the forum is open to all, you, your unit members, even your commander can drop in and speak their mind and set me straight. ![]() Here's their website... http://www.127wg.ang.af.mil/ Here's the base paper with the story of the official A-10 official arrival... http://www.127wg.ang.af.mil/shared/medi ... 30-052.pdf |

I'm glad, So Many of Years on the A-10 just going to Waste, Those Hog Keepers had. What they Could Teach the New Units. I believe we don't have time for \"A few years of Training\" to get War Ready, Its OJT with Veteran Combat Hog Keepers, HELL HOW MANY ARE OUT THERE? Just for 90 days and people \"Willing to Watch and Learn\" and See Just what the A-10 does in Actual Combat as CAS and Hunting Down Targets would put a \"Fire in your Heart, and a Foot up your ASS\" You would love to Get! You don't do it for a \"Pat on the Back\" or a \"Thank-you\" but When that Grunt or Ground Pounder see's you and finds out your a \"Hog Keeper\" Then You'll know Just How Much the A-10 is loved by the ones We are there to Protect Job 1. Ok I'm Off the Soap Box, Kick some Ass 127th Goose |

Gee Joe, How many Years on the A-10's and at Depot help fight for the \"Old Girls \" get these \"New Fangled , Video Game looking Cockpits, so \"Pointy Noses\" would want to \"Fly them\"? And You need Counseling?? Next Spring the Issue will be put to bed, when the 188th goes over it'll be compared to the other ANG units that have already Deployed to Afganny Land. Like I said \" If their as Good as they say \" I'll eat my Words\", I hope so. It's the Grunts and Ground Pounders that need them to be That Good! We'll see then Goose |

Goose Spent a few years of my life on the "old girl" Goose. Like you said we'll see what the 188th can do soon enough. |
