Today i bought the magazine Airforces Monthly.
In it was a story about the A-10 at Moody -Flying Tigers-.
I know the 74th FS and 75 FS, but i saw also
a photo of a patch of Vanguards 76th FS. Do they have also Warthogs?
And are those units under the 476th Fighter Group?

They have two marked in the 76th markings although they come under the 74th FS.

One was lost in the accident the other day at Moody so they are waiting for another one to become available.

I have an article on the Maryland A-10s in Afghanistan which is in Combat Aircraft magazine this month. http://www.combataircraft.net/issues/latestissue.php

Neil

That is incorrect, they are actually assigned to the 75th, not the 74th.
