Has the A-10 ever carried the AGM-122 SideARM? I know its a USN/USMC weapon, but it is cleared for use on the Apache, so I was wondering if it had ever been tested, or carried into combat, on the A-10?

Since it i s based on the AIM-9 would it function on the twin rails that carred the AIM-9l/M?

Any info welcome.

Carried in combat, no. Tested? IDK, I doubt it, but maybe, I've been wrong before. But if so, then it was only at Nellis.

I recall this being discussed years ago, but I do not think we ever actually flew one.
