Is that going on every jet?? just curious since that was the 'boss' bird as you mentioned..... it's ok, different, everything else is nice.................just something about 'snakes on a plane'...especially if that plane is a Hog |

Not exactly sure if all will be painted the same. Maybe the same but subdued grays instead of color...and definately not the rudders again! (DOH!). Had to remove them for W&B...they'd painted it before those of us who knew could say anything. So far just the one has been painted. As far as Hawgsmoke, there's rumors of maybe 4 of us (CCs) going, but using someone elses jets (maybe Ft Smith). I'm thinking we're still way too green to jump into the competition already but if asked I'll go...heh. As of right now we only have 6 jets (plus an A model GITA) assigned to our base. One is at Hill for depot level mx, 661 (boss bird) is flying, two others are close to being flyers, but we need to keep 4 total...including the GITA hangared for FTT for the rest of our MX folks. Six more from WG are at Hill for C-mod, and six more are still at Osan and we won't see them until late spring probably. They're supposed to maybe stop and drop tanks before heading to Hill in October I think. One from Barksdale is supposed to come around April I think. I am still on the fence about the tongue...heh. |
