A question has been raised, I have my answer I always have been told.
I 'm asking you now.

What Happens when a Squadron Shuts Down with all of its Stuff? Like when its being De-Activated. ?

The Flag's, Pictures, pictures, all the Op's stuff that has been part of the Squadron over the years.
Like the 76th TFS. It had bee active, De activated, re-activated then De activated as a TFS then it went to as a \" 76th Space Command Squadron\" .De=activated, Then Re-activated as a AFRES FS Squadron at Moody as the 476th .

Word is the 476th is looking for the 76th TFS Op's Stuff from EAFB , I wasn't there. I was told some was sent to Barksdale AFB.

I also Heard some other things on what happened to some of it at EAFB.

I thought that when a squadron was \"De-Activated\" its Stuff was sent to Maxwell or Storeage until the Squadron was Re-Activated,

What is the procedure?

Goose, not sure on this one let me look into it and I'll get back to you.

We had a bunch of EAFB stuff at Pope in a storage bin for years. Then, it wasn't there anymore. OSI looked into it, not sure what was determined.

I heard from Root a few weeks ago and he's doing good but BUSY!

I wonder if the Stuff was set to NOARD where the 76th Space Command Admin Squadron was?

I was told years ago it was supposed to go either to \"Maxwell AFB \" or Wright Pat for Storeage\". Any Wing or Squadron ever formed or De-Activated pocessions are part of the USAF.
I was told that when I was in MAC by a 0-6 who's Job was overseeing \"MAC History\". I figuired TAC had the same thing. But this was 1983.
