I probably should've posted this in the hog modelling forum, but it's a bit of a ghost town lately, so I'll just post here and beg forgiveness. I recently completed an A-10 model and chronicled my adventure for the amusement of anyone who cares to look at http://fritzthefox.com/building_a_model_airplane.html Enjoy and happy landings! |

Looks very good that model. And i like always the green warthogs. Fritz, you said that the modelling forum is a ghost town, but this was a good start to wake it up. |

Thanks, guys! You are too kind. I did what I could with it. Thank goodness for the internet. I learned a lot. I wouldn't recommend the Revell kit, really, especially if you want to build a more modern hog. It needs too much modding. Buying a cheap model kit really is false economy. I toyed with the idea of building a \"C\" model, but I couldn't figure out how to fashion some of the antenna. I kinda wanted to make formation lights for it, though...I could've sprayed them with glow in the dark paint, which might've been cool. Oh, well, maybe next time. |
