So, I'm taking HIS-145 for my BS degree. American History, 1945 to present. Yes, I see the irony that most of my life is now considered History as I was born in '59.  At any rate, the professor asked last night in class, \"What was the single most important evnt of the 1970's?\"
Well, naturally I replied, \"The first A-10A Warthogs rolled off the assembly line at Fairchild Aircraft's factory and were quickly moved into service\" He thought I was being a smartass, but I was quite serious. |

I think what he meant to say was \"Try to learn something more.\"
