Hi to you all, new to the forum glad to see so many people still with an interest in the A-10. Living in the North East of England means that contact with anything A-10 related is at a premium, where once the skies around the North York Moors used to scream with the noise of turbofans alas all we get now is the odd jaguar and tornado and i can,t remember the last time RAF Leeming had an A-10 through. If anyone on the forum is interested i'm a member of a local military aviation group here is a link to our web site, to those of you who are running the forum keep up the good work, for many of us A-10 lovers this forum is an excelent link to all things Warthog all the best Bosshogcol . http://homepage.ntlworld.com/phillip.ch ... shome.html

Hello Boss!

How about a game of snooker? Great to have you here. I was stationed in Germany and I worked on many of the bases Red, Blue Yellow, and Purple tails that were at BW/WB. I was at Det1 81st TFW from 86-89 and I had a great time. I did take a trip on the ferry to England and had a chance to enjoy a good Ale. That was around July 4 89.

It would be great to see some of the old Tails again.
