Hey guys,
I'm looking for a couple patches to complete a presentation plaque. Specifically what I need are the 23rd TFW, 23rd EMS, and 76th TFS. If anyone knows where I can get hold of these, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks

OOOW Goose! Iwas at England when we wore bright colored patches, and then switched to subdued ones.I also have somewhat of a patch collection. Let me look through the boxes to see what I have, and get back with IYAAYAS,and you later.

Hey, thanks. It would mean a lot if I can get these. BTW, when were you guys at EAFB? I was there April 88-Oct 89. Went to Upper Heyford from there.

Hey Goose,
Checked out your bio and webshots. Brings back some memories. I worked in the bomb dump, red section, and I remember 166. Delivered bombs and bullets to it more times than I can count. During Coronet Warrior I worked out of the Ammo tent out at the end of the 76th flightline.

Do you happen to remember the day Air Force One landed? Reagan was speaking somewhere in Mississippi and the plane was on standby over on the TA ramp. One of the few days I didn't have a camera.....

Your name is familiar to me also. I was also part of the wing honor guard. E-mail me (iyaayas@prodigy.net) sometime.

Hey guys Ilooked through four large boxes of patches for what you were asking for, and found subdued 23 Wing,EMS,and one bright colored 76 patch, which will stay on the display board. Found my old 75th bright colored patches, and a handfull of the old Rapid Deployment patches.I have patches from everywhere, but a lot are not labeled as to where they are from. I would say only about 50-70 are bright, the rest are subdued.Sorry if what I have doesn't help out.

Goose, the Tim Bradley that 30MMJr workes with was in Red section, and remembers you.Steffenhauer is divorced, and has his ex father-inlaws grave marker business.

Ray-
About those patches. What are you looking to get for them? I'm not specifically looking for subdued or bright. Just long as I get them to complete the display. I can change them later if I run across all of one type. Drop me an e-mail and let me know.

Goose-
Banks is familiar also. (I'm much better with faces than names sometimes.) But at EAFB, I hung out with more Weapons troops than Ammo troops. My roommate worked in black sections Weapons Shop. Gary Ament.

Goose,
What did Banks look like? Was he a shorter guy? Brown/red hair. Or am I thinking of someone else?

IYAAYAS, Iwas at England AFB late 70s early 80s four years almost to the day.Was in Black section, DCC on acft 80-0142.Lived in Cabana Mobile Estates just down the road from main gate.

I dont want to make anything from the patches, cause a lot of them are extras. Just a thank you and a kind word is enough. If I can help with a project, it will make me proud to help out a former Flying Tiger friend.

Thanks Ray,
That is very kind of you. Drop me an e-mail and let's work this out. And I will never speak an ill word about you! It was kinda sad for me when I heard EAFB was closing. I hope to get down there sometime soon and check the place out again.

Hey Weasel,
Thanks, but Ray is hooking me up with what I'm looking for. I appreciate the offer though.

Goose,
Was Banks married when he was at England?
