I talked about this door art a few months back, I did this when I was at Osan AB back in 97-98. Only A-10 with a "Smiley Face" that I know of as door art. Caused all kinds of contraversy, my flight chief was told almost daily to get it removed, but it was still on her when I left...She was always flying back then, good jet, heard she went to h*ll though...Oh well...Enjoy the pic...

I guess you have to know me to understand...my original idea was for a happy face with a bullet hole in its head, stick man body, holding a gun in one hand, and his middle finder up in the middle...I knew that one wouldn't go over, so I settled for this. I just am crazy, and wanted something different. And I tell you one thing, when I would walk out on the line, I could find my jet first if the ladder door was open...

Looks like 177 had a good door then. It has had a few new doors since. All pretty dumb, like dice and some other packman looking thing. 2001-2002

No I never crewed that jet and no, I didn't paint any dice on the door...would have been cool IMHO! <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
