having watched the latest offering from LO:MAC (lock on: modern air combat) i thought i read somewhere that the Maverick didn't leave a smoke trail..
is this right?

During the initial Burn Yes, then they glide to the Target.<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> I seen the latest Lomac A10 Vid and it is a bit enhanced, but It is my opinion that Graphics are not quite to the level as Real natural enviroments. I do like the way they have presented the burn contrail and smoke of the Flares. Stunningly beautiful. The Gun smoke is nice but needs to dissipate more slowly and remain in the aircrafts trace.
