This is the most powerful nose-gun in the world! You have to say to yourself..."did he fire 1173 rounds, or 1174?" Peace through Superior Firepower |

By the way, I did some BFM with Scho the other day. Talk about an @$$ kicking...and I was on the receiving end. How can I start off on a 6K perch setup and wind up defensive??? Last setup, I was offensive again, screwed up, and we wound up in a flat scissors...I was the top jet (what a pain to maintain visual), weaving back and forth at 121 knots. That's the slowest airspeed I've maintained in the Hog, and it felt like slow flight in a Cessna. It seems strange to be fighting, at 120 knots, with a positive rate on the VSI...Scho finally terminated it after we couldn't take it anymore. There was no way I was going to let him shoot me (again). I mentioned to him about visiting Pope while building my NVG time, but he said that I have the rest of my life to get that time built up. I'm not quite sure what he meant about that...other than a few of our airplanes are coming up on trips to depot, with a bunch deployed, so I guess we won't be doing 'Operation Airshow' while the rest of the boys are making history. Oh well. ATTACK! |
