To simply answer your question the A10 is not a supersonic aircraft but flies very comfortably in the lower subsonic regions. It is able to engage targets where other fighters are limited in corner velocities and best turn radiusv So in essence they are not truly utilised like per say a ww2 Stuka Divebomber.
The Clamshell spoilerons do not suddenly stop the aircraft. As to the effect of G's, of activateing it in the dive, it would not be anymore than +/- 1 g.
