Hi again,

I have found very interesting that at same speed, the roll rate in the hog increase from 130º per second to 200º per second when the speed brakes are about 40%, this is valid at least when flying at 300 knots, I wonder why if the speed is the same, does anybody knows the reason, I am not physics and guess must be something about aerodynamics that I do not know.

Thanks in advance,

Farris

The simple answer is that the differential board exposure with the decelerons opened at 40% is increased.
ie. there is more board hanging out in the wind on opposite sides of the wing top and bottom.
I'm sure someone out there has a more technical version.
cheers
