Got a shot of Zero's art work \"Martyr Maker\" today. It's not in to bad of shape for being drawn in grease pencil two years ago! This is very cool to have along with his helmet design. :D

The helmet is better painted than the door. Does the plane have still her doorart? And wich plane (based) is it? Sorry Dice-Man for all those questions.

That's 79-186, based with the 74th FS Flying Tigers. My helmet was done better only because it was re-done 3 times (twice in 2005 in the desert when Life Support kept taking it off the helmet, and once more in 2006 when the helmet was retired from service). The door art was scratched out in between pre-flight ops and taking the bird into the air, at night, standing on the ladder, so I didn't have time to make it look any better. Same goes for the tail in the 75th, 135 that got dubbed \"Harvester of Sorrow\" while we were over there.

Hope the info helps.
Cheers,
Zero

Thanks Zero for all your personal information. I like stories behind a painting.

Thanks for the info Zero. I like this one (a lot) because of the image, what it was drawn with, and most of all because of the background history and story. :D
