Got mine today, a dang pretty patch it is!

\"Anchor\" also tossed in a HAWGSMOKE 2008 business card! Those boys are pimping this for all it's worth. Good on 'em!

Wanted to note that this patch is all over ebay now, infact one guy was selling it for $40 \"buy it now\". It didn't sell, so it is now listed at $9.99; one was at $18 with minutes to go last week.
I would urge all collectors to do their homework. Patches like this are almost always offered by units or the places that make them, like Emblemking. For ebay, use the unique searches and look under the \"buy it now\" tab. I have found that many patches are in stores of sellers who have no idea what the patch is. I found a VERY old 28th Air Division for $1, \"buy it now\".
It is amazing how much greed ebay brings out in people! Also as the weapons NCOIC for the A-10 LASTE mod at RAF Woodbridge in '92, I was curious how many have this patch? I have never seen one on ebay, and only one from a fellow A-10 collector. Just curious. Al.

Yeah, a friend of mine was selling one on eBay and it was at $40 or something like that with multiple bids at one point. I don't blame him, he didn't list a starting bid that was anywhere near that, probably in the ballpark of $7 or so; but people went nuts. I think a lot of collectors depend entirely on eBay as their source of patches; granted, some of them may be overseas and not know/think to contact the units.

But, despite it all, I think eBay is a good thing and I have scored some really good additions to my collection via it. You just gotta do your homework...

Cheers! M2
