I'm looking for anyone who has any documentation that could help me. I was assigned to the 23rd TFM / AGS 76th AMU from 1988 - 1991. I've been told that the 23rd was awarded an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with a "V" device for combat actions. Dose anyone know anything about this? If you can be of any help I'd appreciate it. I EMAILED YOU HUTCH. I NEVER WAS GIVEN ANY PAPERWORK AND THATS THE 1ST I EVER HEARD OF IT. THEY JUST GAVE ME A OUA WHEN I GOT OUT .ITS ON MY 214 BUT NEVER SAID WHAT UNIT. MACK YOU EVER GET ONE? PRESS TO TEST |

Hutch: Hope this isn't to late, I'm brand-new to the "board." You heard correctly, the 23rd did receive an AOU with Valor ("V" device) for combat actions in Desert Storm. Hope this helps, RANDALL K |

If you check the offical AF website it only has the 23rd recieving the OUA but not the "V" device. Fender Hands clear. All switches off, safe or normal. Gun hot or cold? No limit, you bet. |
