Nice interview of the first woman by the legendary demoteam Thunderbirds. And she looks also pretty.

She's the 1st pilot, booms. Met her at the BX when they were at Scott AFB in Aug. Unfortunately didn't have the camerain my pocket. She seemed like a nice person. She flies #3. She was with #2 and he was a right prick. IMHO, of course.

Click on "more bio" if you want really more about her to know.

It is good to see that also a job as Thunderbird displayteam has now also a woman in there team as pilot.

Rumours about Thunderbirds in 2007 are coming to Europe airshows, hope they do.

I met her last year at Nellis when she was still training and again this year when she flew into Quonset RI. The had 2 pilots out to give interviews for the local paper media.

Like 30mm mentioned, she's the first pilot.

from the interview
Women have served in the Thunderbirds since 1974, just not in a pilot capacity, Major Malachowski said. Of the 130 officers and enlisted personnel on the Thunderbird team, 15 are women.

She must be a Damn Good Pilot then.
I can remember the "BIG DEAL" over the 1st "All Female Flight crew" in a C-9A then the next week the "Entire All Female Crew" on a C-9A
Thats, A/C,C/P,Flying C/C,DCC and ACC,and the entire Medical staff on board. Some of you remember the first "Female Fighter pilots"

I never saw one
