Snipe you may scoff at "elite" being applied to these warriors, but I'm telling you I've seen them in action, and they can drop into a hot zone and complete a "set and rinse" before you can say "my aunt fannie" and STILL have time for a bra and pantie pillow fight afterwards.

BTW-Lunatock, Tzanhanim, when translated, means Paratroopers. And the Signal Company are the ones that go right in front with the first wave of any attack to establish comms with the rest of the people, call for support, medevac, or anything else. And they still fight on the same level as everyone else in the Tzanhanim unit.

Signal Corps troops are REMF's.

I'd say that to one of em. :)

If they were mean to me first I would. Like giving puppydog eyes to a Model that repeatedly commented on how ugly she thought I was, as she went up & down the runway in Atlantic City.

Soldiers shmoldiers. Respect is earned or lost, regardless of who you are. What you do.

But if they were mean first. Making enemies, especially of some of them, isn't priority one.

If we're talking about abbreviations now... Well we weren't, but what the hell...

What abbreviation takes longer to say than the original phrase that is being abbreviated..?

"www"

To say it you need six syllables "double-you-double-you-double-you"

"World-Wide-Web" only takes three ..!

Does this win any awards for possibly THE most USELESS piece of information ever..?

Not the MOST useless info. Seeing pics of girls we'll never get is above it. But we still post, look at, and discuss them with glee.

OK, some observations on thread behaviour...

If the thread is two pages or less in length, it will undoubtedly be of a sensible nature.
It will start with either a reasonable question or a sound fact.
The following debate will be rational and to the point.

This type of thread attracts a certain kind of contributor.

Once a thread reaches four pages or greater, it will take one of two forms...

An argument based on mine's faster, bigger, smaller, better, harder, nosier, taller, shorter, sillier, heavier, smellier or more dangerous.
It will be exactly the same as any argument found in any school playground anywhere in the world but with more name-calling and tantrums.

These threads again, attract a certain type of contributor and they know who they are.

The second type of long rambling thread always starts with a discussion about women and very quickly ends up talking about possible health benefits and how to avoid friction burns.

These are always started by Boomer ...

I think you got it right, 44, but usually after 1 page it will blow up.l People here are anxios and don't have much patience for two whole pages (60 replys) to go by. Back when it used to be 15 replys a page, then maybe...
