There was something posted on Fencecheck forum that the aircraft wasn't destroyed, just slightly damaged and should be able to be fixed for flight again.

Okay, wow... all the online stories are EXTREMLEY exaggerating. I got official word from the museum.
"The F-86 had a landing gear incident and substained minimal damage on the runway at Tucson. It should be repaired and flown back to Chino within a couple of weeks. There's probably a day's worth of work to do to it. It will still fly in the show, at this point. The plane was being flown by Heritage pilot Dale Snodgrass."
Not nearly as bad as the 'total loss' that is on all the news stories.
