I bought today the magazine Combat Aircraft and what I read on page 6 & 7 was not good. Or mine English is getting worse or I read it good, but there I saw it standing: By the end of 2008 are all F-117a retired! The first 10 will be out next year. Have somebody more information about this? Salute Dutchy ------------------------ Termites do it in the dark! (47FS Barksdale afb) |

The F-22 and obviously the B-2 are at LEASTE as stealthy as the F-117 if not a great deal more. Remember the F-117 was 1st or 2nd generation stealth from nearly 30 years ago. She's getting old now and has done her job to perfection. <img src=newicons/smiley_salute.gif border=0 align=middle> A 45 has a muzzle. A 9mm has a bullet vent. |

Not to mention keeping her in the air. She's not designed for two flights a day(which is what we tried to fly with her)-even with parts-more like a couple a week. The hours are getting up there, and as mentioned, we're mass producing a better plane. Ignorance may be bliss, but it sure ain't fun! |
