Well I got a shock coming home from work today. As I was driving home I look up and see an Osprey on final into Shaw. The first thing that went through my mind was, please don't crash that POS here.

Having had a buddy that was building the Osprey and hearing some of the problems..........I think I'd have to agree with ya there Fender!

Shaw........been along time but thats where I took my F-4 FTD school enroute to Aviano after Tech School. Like Oct/Nov 1980.
Was a really nice area as I remember and a pretty fun time. Phantom school was pretty cool, or maybe it was just the character I had as an instructor......Msgt George "Spanky" Spangler.
Or it might have been the nice job I had for a couple weeks, while I waited for my FTD class to start. For 2 weeks I was in charge of feding the catfish in the golf course lake! A few scoops of duck pellets in the morning and a few more in the afternoon! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

And one wonders why I thought the Air Force was alot of fun my first 2 years. Feeding catfish and a crew chief assigned to a base with no aircraft assigned to it! (Aviano at the time)

They had one here for Skyfest 2006. Supposedly it was the first time it was at an airshow outside of Kirtland.

You might be a "Bulldog" if: You bend over and grab your ankles when you hear: "EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE!"
