I had these also the first one is an \"Older\" paint job on the first CT-39A's

Which was my first aircraft I ever Crewed

This one is a 62 model also but has Radar

This is a Marine T-39G model these were only used by the Marines and had more room ,they were the Caddy's of the Saberliners

Here was the first C-21 to arrive at Yokota in the late Fall of 1984

This T-39 was the CINIC PAC's T-39 He liked the Old Paint job plus if you notice between the White T-39 the markings.

Grey and white had \"USAF on the wings the White T-39's had United States of America on them. Civilians if we carried them on Official Trips had to use one of those .

All basically the same jet some had Weather Radar, others didnt and the Mission was differant.
The Marine T-39G's had a flight crew of 5+ 8 pax's while we had a crew of 3 + 6 pax due to Fuel loads.

So just something differant.

I loved those \"Old Cotton PJ's\" I wish I had a better picture of my hat, it was a \"CAMS\" PATCH. The old Consolidated Aircraft Maintance Squadron.
I had just turned 19 and made A1C and they were lifting the ban on Prem Press Fatigues for Refueling aircraft.
Some of you \"Young Guys\" [lol] can remember that if you had on
Per meant Press fatigues you got out of refueling and Defuels due to the \"Myth of Static discharge\" from wearing them.
So the \"Low Life Airman\" like myself were given more cotton fatigues so we could do those jobs.

Muddy we aint that old, Dice is still older  :P :D

I just found out too talking to a couple of Museums that they have been using T-39's for \"Drones too\" so alot have ended-up \"Splashed\".

61-0634 Above is a static bird at Dyess AFB I cant find 4476 I just know it was transferred to the Navy when it came back State side in 86..

Another bit of trivia the Saber liner used the same wing, landing gear, doors as the F-86 Saber same company.
