Received these pics from an old engine troop buddy of mine at Bradley. Don't know for sure but I think it's their first one. Far cry from the Hawg. ![]() ![]() |

Well, at least that looks better than the giant one that covered the front of their A-10 flagship |

Hey that looks familiar, get out the wax , Never Du and Carpet Fresh . Hey if you can't work on A-10's then C-21's aren't a bad way to go. Plenty of work, lots of flying time, and easy to get your A&P. Well if you ever see C-21 84-0102 I got to work on it for a few weeks in Japan in Nov 1984 when my Jet was gone and before the Civilians took over. Our Flight Mechanics on the CT-39's were transfered to the C-21's we could only Tow them after the Contractors Took over. Nice jet, but we we're hoping the Cessna Citations would of got the Contract instead of Lear. Goose |

They are a Good Ride but a little cramp in the head room, They let all of us CrewChiefs in 82 take rides in the different choices the Citation was the best ride but Lear gave the USAF the best Contract deal on Parts and Maintance. The CINCMAC's wife liked the Lear better too so that was probably a BIGGER REASON they were picked ![]() I left Scott AFB before the 1st ones were assigned , I only saw Yokota AB transits to C-21's. According to Dyncorp, 84-0102 is still there Goose though I understand the base is shutting down soon. OC |

Chief, I heard Yokota was closed, then re-opened back and fourth I know my Nephew had to just go in the past 6 months down there to see USAF medical at the base. That use to to be the Biggest MAC base in Japan or pretty much PACAF (Clark AB was the Biggest of them All) we had so much Traffic thru there plus a C-130 TAG and a PACAF ABW/ and USAF Weather RECON -C-135's It was always Funny being in PACAF, in MAC Detached to AFCC where we worked on Aircraft for PACAF and Took care of the CINCPAC's jet which was assigned to the 475TH ABW/ 5th AF PACAF /MAC 316 TAG/OMS and I had all that plus the 1867th AFCC/FCS Det. I had 2 different Hats and Fatigues I wore depending on what I was doing that day with \"Whom?\" But we weren't allowed to wear the \"PACAF\" patch Just too many \"Bosses\", but it was Great for APR ENDORSEMENTS !
