Anybody know where I can get a schedule (or something close to it) for the Air Mobility Command's Rodeo at McChord AFB this next week? I know a good spot off base to watch, can see the runway and taxiways, was going to take my 2 boys to watch the big dogs play.... couldn't get to anything through Mc Chord's site or the AMC site, or google, or...well, I've searched around a bit with no luck.....

I'll look into it with a contact I have there. No guarentees, but if can get me some info, I'll be happy to share it. (edit) I just e-mailed him. I'll let you know what I find out either way. |

Yup! Lots of cargo birds sitting on the ramps from all over. Some very contrasting camo paint jobs, from light tans to dark grays/blues. Looks cool. |

Unfortunately this is all I came up with: **************************** I can't hand out time tables and aircraft numbers even if I had them, which I don't. I DO know they are pretty much flying all the time off and on this week. The Rodeo will be ending soon, however, so get out there before Friday to see the most action. I could recommend that you get out there early in the morning tomorrow (Wednesday), but all I know for sure is that my team is meeting at the aircraft for prep at around 0500. If they're planning on flying after that, then I'm sure it will be around 0700. However, I'm only watching one team. The ramp is filled with C-130 tails, so I'm sure there will be flights all morning long. Good luck. |
