F-5E/F

The export US fighter during the 1960-1970s. It gave many nations their first taste of super sonic combat and is still in the service of many users. The plane has been used for air defense, CAS, recce and as an advanced trainer by many air forces. Iran has built their own version the Azarakhsh, which is used as a lightweight fighter-bomber. The F-5 family is easy to keep flying which is why several enemies of the USA have been able to keep this plane flying for years.
