Does anyone know how to locate a specific aircraft? My husband was the very first crew chief of a 1979 model A-10 #0139 when it arrived from the factory to Davis Monthan in early 1980. It was piloted by a Brigadier General who was the base commander at the time (sorry - I forgot his name). He was replaced as commander by Colonel Rodney Beckman and my husband crewed for him for about two years on this plane. I would like to find out what happened to that aircraft in the last 23 years - where it has been, etc. Any suggestions?? Thanks for your help. |

For you all, you can go to www.scramble.nl, plug in a tail number in the military database and it will tell you where it's at. Even retired jets. 79-0139 is in there. Scary uh? Cheers db Being responsible means sometimes pissing people off. Gen Colin Powell ret |

Ya, it's the comma after "nl" on the hyper link that's causing it. Drop the comma and it works. Sorry about that. db Being responsible means sometimes pissing people off. Gen Colin Powell ret |
