Remember the H24 sleeve valve engine used in the hawker tempest and typhoon fighters, just what cycles did they use, were they two or four stroke, and just how big were they? and has anyone any information on them???????

I think you're going a little early for this forum. I had to read that twice. All I know is that the Hurricane used a Merlin engine from Rolls Royce, though you most likely already know that, as you're asking a more detailed question.
