...I am building my first plastic-model since about 12 years.
It´s an 1-72 AH-64A. (why the Apache?? Thats another story...<img src=newicons/Whatever_anim.gif border=0 align=middle>)
I found a lot of pics in the net but what I´m looking for are pictures of the AH-64A in iraq/saudi-arabia.. Especially the paint-scheme with the "shark-teeth" (I found a drawing, it says 82 Airborne Division during Desert Storm had that paint-scheme...)

Any help would be highly appreciated!<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Try googling using various phrases like "82d Airborne Apache ODS", etc.

You should get some decent stuff if you're patient enough.

ok, I´ll keep on trying.
But I need to build this fast, the longer I look at this kit the more mistakes I find. Revell sucks...

Homer32,

I've got some shots of the Apache that I took here in Korea if that'll help, let me know and I'll post them again.

As for the Flying Tigers "Sharks Teeth" I did a yahoo search for "Flying Tigers" & "AH-64" and came up with units assigned at Ft. Bragg and a couple of other bases, unfortunalty I couldn't access them from my civilian ISP account.

Homer32,

Here's the link to the pics. Since your using them to build a model, I left them uncompressed so you can see the detail.

sounds crazy but have a look at airliners.net and contact one of the photographers that contribute to the site, as though it deals mainly with airliners, there are a sizable number of military types, also there is a search engine on the site.
