Which do you prefer working on, those that mess with this part of the aircraft? What's the pros/cons of each?

IMHO, you can't even compare the two. I mean a JFS is stricly for starting motors, while the APU does a whole lot more. As for working/changing the APU wins here again. It's so much easier to change an APU as opposed to the JFS...
