767 lease deal is dead. Money was used to help fund a 3.5% payraise come January.

Also in related news, BRAC 2005 is on. Congress had had a bill awating vote that directed that the BRAC be delayed 2 years. They dropped that bill as a way to insure that the $444B 2005 defense budget doesn't get vetoed by the President.

Looks like we'll again be getting rid of some useless infrastructure we have and the dollars spent on it; dollars better spent on maintaining and upgrading actual weapons systems.
