Insiders can answer this question with ease: It appears that the Air Force has a bigger bank roll from the feds than the Navy. What are the factors that lead to that: Fiscal responsibility; better lobbiests; more appealing pet projects????... |

The Air Force has been "lucky" to be able to show their stuff lately, and so has made effective arguments for more budget. I wish there were some Army leaders that could put together some plan to acquire equipment/capability to counter anarchists and terrorists with less risk. That would get them big $$$$. If that's true, then seems like the Air Force can play the game of politics much better than the Marines can, the Air Force getting the best of both worlds<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> |
