There are actually two M-16's there, but their placement is not the key.

Look closer at their weapons....they are unloaded.

Why yes they are. IN person it'd be likely the weapons would be inspected up close.

Then maybe yell out "We're under attack!" To test those two, if they bother to load clips into thier M-16's. Or just get ready to defend themselves with empty guns.
