Thankx. Dark Angel just got to Israel a couple month's ago. It's a fairly decent show, but a bit far-fetched for me. I prefer JAG (and Catherine Bell<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>)

In reference to glide slope, I have magically become a really great instrument pilot. And I'm not being sarcastic! I had so much trouble with instruments, even understanding the concept of an approach, and now I look back and wonder what on earth was so difficult about it? It's cake!

On the other hand, the T-1 runway and the Tweet runway are only about 1000' apart, so as they come around the turn onto initial, they get pretty close to us. People always made such a big deal about it in Tweets and I remember thinking "No big deal, of course I won't hit the T-1." But every day I RTB in the jump seat I move my seat to the other side of the plane and pray whenever I see a Tweet coming around toward us. It honestly scares me every time, even though we've never had that collision there before! <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well, let the record reflect that if a particular Philly sim instructor had mentioned that if i let go of the stick after touching down she would have landed fine.

But you KNOW i would not have counted the vacay as complete unless i lawndarted that Viper!

Horrido did a nice 20 degree nose into asphault landing too.

The sim was very cool, though a bit grafix challenged.

I wanted to do a on the deck run at the Kara CG, but the sim instructor wanted us on a 30 degree dive.....

It was a load of fun man, you'd have loved it Booms.

Glide slopes for both approaches were awesome, just lacked enough power to make it the last 12 feet to the runway on the instruments only landing, Mr. "I can't keep my hand off my stick!"...lol
