Thou Dost Protest Too Much! After Robert Coram wrote a scathing op-ed in the May 27 New York Times criticizing the Air Force's plan to retire the A-10 fleet, Air Combat Command (ACC) vice-chief Lt. Gen. Bruce Wright penned an e-mail highly critical of sources who assisted Coram in obtaining information that contributed to his op-ed, according to a non-profit watchdog. "Please look your staffs in the eye and offer that if one of our officers is complicit in going to Mr. Coram, without coming to you or me first with their concerns, they ought to look hard at themselves, their individual professionalism, and their personal commitment to telling the complete story," Wright says in a memo obtained by the Project on Government Oversight. -------------
