Would such an engine provide enough thrust for a pure delta to take

no real knowledge, but im just saying that any scale model of a 75 degree triangle shaped craft would fly just about as good as a bag of bricks.

Hey Boomer,

What is this "next week" stuff? Why don't you answer them now? Maybe because it takes 1 week for the new pictures you took to be developed. I'm sure you will have new ones while throwing the model so you can't see any strings.

I mean why wait 7 days, what purpose would that have on anything? Why don't you start by answering that question? I know, you have to wait for the man in black to give you the go-ahead lol

P.S. Someone wanted to know why you could only see 1 string in the picture. The reason is because the other strings were angled slightly so light would not reflect off of them.

You see, I'm just gonna have to go with Boomer on this, cause we've known each other for a fairly long time, and if he says that's what they are, then I believe him. You'll notice I haven't taken sides yet, and that's cause I wanted to wait for comments from other people. after all the feedback, I still believe Boomer's story.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.

These images are dead ringers for the Testors XR-7 ThunderDart model kit (of which I own two) that depicts what Testors designer John Andrews imagined that Aurora might look like. The only difference (aside from the added landing gear) is that the top-mounted jet engines that are included with the kit don't seem to have been added to the model in the photos.

John Andrews obtained a patent (which Testors owns) on the design.
Check out Patent number Des.364,600 at USPTO.gov for three pages worth of Andrews' sketches of the design. I'll be a monkey's uncle if he got the design that close to an actual "Aurora", especially since his "F-19 Stealth Fighter" model kit turned out to look *NOTHING* like the actual stealth fighter that we all know and love.
I'll throw my ante in the Hoax Pot.

Hey guys,

No I didn't add the strings, but I can tell you how to make them stand out from the originals. Just make the contrast go up, and put the brightness down. They stick out by themselves. I am sure any paint program besides Photoshop "the program I used" will do this too. I actually encourage anyone else to do it and post it if you think I am lying. In a past post I detailed exactly what I did so anyone can come to the same conclusion. So Boomer when are you going to make me look bad? When will you answer all those previous questions? Tomorrow makes 7 days.
