I dont believe I mentioned the "individuals" in the article,that seems moot now anyway, but I dont know for sure if they will print my stuff word for word, or have a writer work it over.
The pics I sent them would be too large to post here( I might compress them and put them up) but I will post the article here eventually (since they are paying me I think it fair that they get a chance to sell a few issues first). I cant get the mag here either but they are sending me a copy or two.
Clay, you'll eventually see that the cockpits arnt anything alike and that the top of that model is VERY different from my pics.
About the Auroras success, I have a growing feeling that IF the aircraft that made those "doughnut on a rope" contrails was the Aurora (or what we call Aurora) that that alone may be it's demise. Think about that contrail, this would seem to be a low frequency cycle of thrust-no thrust, and a LOT of thrust at that! What would that be like for the crew and all the sensitive instruments! Like getting kicked in the back of the head by a mule every ½ to 1 second, for how many hours? I think we'll eventually find out that Aurora was a techno success but a practicle failure.

Cool, but the shuttle doesn't even reach near to speeds of mach 5+ and when were talking about speeds near to mach 7 or even 10, materials themselves won't cut it. But, like you said, time will tell.
