TT can you find ANY incident in a tech debate where I insulted you personally? ANY at all? As for a "thin skin" and "kiddie gloves" YOU are the one my friend who goes into a "twitch fit" anytime anyone even mentiones the Super Hornet! For you, the Nazis may just be some weird family down the street , but for me they are in a whole different catogory of "human". As for "just kidding", at THIS forum we usually make that VERY clear with smilies or "LOL"s to avoid missunderstandings.

I never called you a Nazi, I compared your tunnel vision idealism to the Nazi's in 1937. lol, as for twitch fit, I unload with both barrels, and a case of torrent syndrome cause the Super Hornet is a dumb idea, and those who find it as a superior one, suffer from the same liability as the concept itself.

But since it is obvious I must be the one to kiss you on the cheeck and make it all better, for what it is worth, I am sorry you felt insulted..........

There... now we can be friends again, and go back to the jungle gym.

Actually "Nazi" describes my ex wife very well..........She was a regular Eva Braun.

Oh and Boomer...........you did call me dyslexic. That was very mean. Just because I colored with my black crayola all the time in grade school didn't mean I was dyslexic.

I posted "dyslexic frown" cause you typed it as (; backassarwds from normal. The only points I'm firm about with regards to SH is #1- it's here it's queer, get used to it (LOL). #2- it's cheaper to maintain than F-14(something like 4 times cheaper[not my numbers ,and they probly refer to Hornet not SH]) and #3 it has a lower RCS than anything in the fleet that I am aware of (personally when I heard of the $ spent to "stealthify" SH I was against it cause it still has to carry it's weapons externally,but it is STILL stealthier than anything from across the sea, althought the small Gripen may be VERY close!)

I try not to carry grudges either, it's a waste of energy and grief(grief can be put to SO many more usefull purposes anyway! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> ) If your Ok I'm ok. <tamping foot on buried hatchette>

Your very right Boomer, about the maintence costs, thats one of things that doomed the F-14.
