In Canada, we bought a hundred of F/A-18A/B. We modify them so they are now named CF-18A/B (CF for Canadian Fighter).

We have a better cockpit, false canopy, powerfull light to identufy friend or foes at night, special rockets pod (cadadian made) and much more to come in the near futur.

So compared the american version, I think our CF-18 is better. In adition, since we only have one fighter, the CF-18 is a real Multi-role fighter.

What do you think ?

I will say this warthog, regardless of how your CF-18 stands up to contemporary F-18's within the US inventory, it is a step up from the vintage century series F-101 that the RCAF used untill the mid 80's.

Snipe they can have a limited defence buget when Uncle Sam is wielding a big stick, you ever look at Mexico's airforce, lol...

Yes, Mexico does have an Air Force. They fly the mighty AT-34 Mentor. I flew that aircraft in Corpus Texas and let me tell you one thing, you aren't gonna beat the turn radius on that thing at 180Kts.

Ok, I can understand that you love your air force so you will say that YOUR F-18 is better but our CF-18 is a F/A-18 with ADD-ON. So off-course our fighter is better...

I'm not going to get into "ours is better" with you...but to correct you...the United States Air Force doesn't fly any variation of the F-18....so...when you know your facts correctly I'll "discuss" items like the above with you....

it's a medium sized floodlight on the left hand side below the cockpit for lighting up another aircraft, installed by MacAir as part of the fit for CF-18. With that and the false canopy is should dominate the Canadian skies and keep the the Mexican/Irish Air Forces at bay for a long time to come.

Actually, it'd be the 52st-61th states. PR would be 51.

And yes Mexico has an air force. Those 10 F-5s are flying...I think

"Mexico has an airforce?"

Yes they have like a squadron of F-5E/Fs and prepare to be shocked 3-4 E-2Cs. I'm not joking they bought them second hand for the IDF/AF. Go figure must eb the highes fighter to AWACs ratio in the world.

So what type of GPS guided weapons does it carry?

well, no one ever has mentioned Paraguay's Air Force. I think it's worth to note that they have a grand total of 56 and 8/4 Aircraft (including the Navy).
